March's Skater of the Month- Bread
/Derby Name and Number? How did you come up with it?
-Bread 350. It was a nickname that my sister called me, Rye Bread or Bread.
Where did you grow up?
-Glenmoore, PA
What made you start playing roller derby?
-Chelshock...it's all her fault.
What is your pre-game routine?
-I usually put on a hoodie, look in the mirror in the bathroom, and start bobbing my head back and forth like Eminem in 8 mile.
What is your favorite off-skates workout?
-Swimming.
What is your favorite position to play and why?
-Pivot– You get to block and sometimes jam. I'm not huge, not skinny and quick, seems like a good spot for me.
Worst derby-related injury?
-Broken and dislocated right ankle- 2 plates, 11 screws.
What is the most rewarding part of being a member of Penn Jersey Roller Derby?
-Love.
As a member of a bitracksual league, tell us how you feel about the banked track versus the flat track.
-Banked Track Hard. Flat track speed limited.
What inspires you most when training?
-Ledger's fine fine ass.
