Give a little, get a lot...

To keep hosting your favorite PJRD events (Derby-Q anyone?), we’re looking at a budget of $10,000. This funding is going to help us with demolition of mold-ridden walls, insulation to keep the temperatures above freezing inside the warehouse, overhaul on flooded and insufficient bathrooms, maintenance on the banked

track “Judy” and more seating for our fans and yours. Of course we’re ready to offer you some of the finest PJRD swag available in return for your donations!  Every little bit helps, and if we don’t reach our whole goal, we’ll keep trying, we’ll keep improving, we’ll keep opening our doors. But we’re hoping the community will remember us fondly and put us over the top. It’s not just our warehouse, it’s yours too.

Our ultimate dream…

We want to keep hosting our derby family with our events and clinics, but we don’t want to charge an arm and a leg. PJRD hopes to keep the time and use of the warehouse at a next to nothing price for all skaters and spectators from all corners of the world. More importantly, once we’ve completed the reorganization of the layout, we will have not only an RDCL-approved banked track, but also a WFTDA/MRDA sanctioned flat track by its side and all in one space—the ultimate derby haven. Two years ago, we put a call out to help make our warehouse more accessible and we got an overwhelming response. We painted walls, built bleachers, and put a mural on the wall commemorating our late, great Judy Sowinski, all from the donations of derby and non-derby folks alike.
Now, we need to do some serious upkeep to the structure. Again, we’re turning to our derby family. We’ll do the work, we just need some funding.
